Sublimation Must Haves!
Sublimation Must Haves!
With sublimation, there are always some must have products to make your life easier! Below is a list of my must haves, and where you can find them. If there is a link I will include those as well!
- Heat Tape: Seriously, this is a lifesaver. Heat tape made specifically for sublimation is perfect to use to hold the transfer to mugs, tile, apparel and so much more. It helps to keep the transfer in place so it doesn’t ghost on you. You will need a dispenser to hold it too!

- Repositionable spray adhesive: This can be sprayed onto the transfer itself and then put it onto your substrate. I’ve used spray on apparel, pillow cases, tote bags. It provides and extra measure to secure the transfer. I personally use the Elmers Craft Bond brand and have always had great luck with it.
- PolyT Plus/Poly Gloss: The PolyT Plus is used on fabric that doesn’t have a high enough polyester count to provide a more vibrant final pressed design. I LOVE this stuff! FOR real! The Poly Gloss is to use on hard substrates such as glass/tile/wood/etc. This provides a coating that sublimation can adhere to.
